The story of a photographer

I'm Emma Hilton! I've lived in North Carolina my whole life until 2019, after my husband and I got married and we moved to Dublin, Georgia to be in "pine tree country" for his forestry career. I've come to love this area and really enjoy the small town atmosphere, much like where I grew up!

My husband, Dwight and I have a sweet, energetic baby boy and can't wait to see how God continues to bless us in the future! We have two dogs. June, a lab and Dwight's wild GSP, Waylon. The 5 of us love spending time outdoors.

My passion is very much all things DIY, I love to make crafts, bake, dream up things for Dwight to help me build and take photos (which I think is like a DYI project)! My degree is elementary education, I taught before getting married and once we moved I became a private in home nanny. Now I have my favorite job of all, stay at home mom!! I never imagined I'd title myself a "photographer", but with much encouragement from my husband I'm having faith and taking the leap!

I've practiced this skill for years and always loved it! Each time I learn something new I do my best to work harder. As a stay at home mom I practice a lot with my son and hope that he won't grow to hate picture taking (fingers crossed)!!

I hope you'll reach out and I'll get to help you and yours capture this moment in time! I very much believe that photos are precious and they are a treasure. This world and these photos are not eternal but I love being able to hold onto my favorite memories and people through photos to bring a smile to my face each time I see them.

Testimonials

The Lane Family

“Having a blended family with kids who are 15, 12, and 4 have made for some funny dynamics in photo shoots over the years. For the first time, we had a photographer that made everyone at ease and feel our best during our session. Emma had great ideas for natural and posed shots, and has a knack for capturing everyone’s personalities. I was so pleased with our results that I couldn’t order Christmas cards and prints to frame fast enough! Thank you Emma!”
